USING LEGION GROWN FLOWER FOR DIY CANNABUTTER

By nature, the cannabis plant produces THCA, a cannabinoid that once heated and activated, converts into bioavailable THC. Because baked cannabis goods are processed by your digestive system and liver prior to entering the bloodstream, they sometimes provide consumers with more potent feelings of physical relief, euphoria, and relaxation.

Infuse butter with Legion Grown flower for a potent, terpene-rich edible experience. Here's what you'll need:

  • 8 oz. unsalted butter
  • 2 cups of water
  • crockpot
  • strainer
  • cheesecloth
  • large bowl with cover
  • 1/2 ounce of ground Legion Grown cannabis

Decarboxylate your ground cannabis in the oven at 225 degrees for 50 minutes, or use the Ardent NOVA for a precise, smell-free decarb. Once browned, place your decarboxylated flower in a piece of cheesecloth and fasten. Place into your crockpot with two cups of water and softened butter on low. Stir every 15-30 minutes, and allow to infuse for 3-4 hours. Turn off the heat, remove your cheesecloth from the mixture, and squeeze out any additional liquid that it may have retained into your bowl. Pour the rest o your mixture into the bowl, cover it, and place inside the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Once the butter has solidified on the top layer, carefully remove it, and dispose of the leftover water in the bowl.

You now have a half pound of Legion Grown infused cannabis butter ready to help you get creative in the kitchen!
