We are extremely honored and grateful to have won 3 awards at Emerald Cup last weekend! 1st Place Distillate Cartridge 3rd Place Distillate Cartridge 2nd Place Live Resin Cartridge The adage rains true; it certainly does take a village. Behind the scenes is a dedicated team spending countless hours working diligently to provide the very best product day in and day out. The LEGION started as five friends and long-time medical cultivators with a vision to craft the very best cannabis experiences possible. What began as a seed dreamed by a few has bloomed into a dedicated team of cannabis advocates and enthusiasts that all share the same vision. We are deeply grateful to the cannabis community for the love and support we’ve received over the years. We have overcome significant adversity these past few years, which makes these Emerald Cup awards particularly special. From the total loss of our outdoor cultivation facility in 2017 to the devastating Sonoma County wildfires. To jump through the ever-shrinking hoops in 2018 as California’s regulated cannabis market was born. To steadily growing the brand through 2019. All the while staying true to the reasons that we started the LEGION to begin with: To create products that we would be proud to share with our friends and family.
Winning these awards at the cup of cups this year is an affirmation to that promise.
LEGION California Sauce Cartridge Launch
The Emerald Cup was the official Launch for our California Sauce \ Live Resin 510 Cartridge line. If you have loved the California Sauce Pod, then you will definitely want to experience the NEW California Sauce Cartridge. The EC Judges were certainly digging it! Our Lemon Cake placed second in the Live Resin Cartridge category in a stacked field of quality entries.

Solventless Extracted Terpenes at their Finest
We have been perfecting our terpene extraction process for years to bring you the best quality cannabis experiences possible and crafting single-origin solventless terpenes for our Monarch Cartridge line. One thing is for certain: We cannot create exceptional products without amazing farm partners. We extract the terpenes, but the cultivator still has to produce top-notch cannabis to create something worthy of winning awards at the Emerald Cup.
This year, we partnered with our good friends at Ridgetop Botanicals and Humboldt Trees to create a few EC Exclusive Strains. Three strains were cultivated in small batches for entry into the Cup and to be able to offer these on our booth menu. You’ll definitely want to check these out at your nearest dispensary!

The terpenes captured using LEGION’S proprietary extraction techniques for these 3 strains was a real treat. During the taste testing before the event, we knew that we had something unique...but the question was whether these strains were award worthy.
We certainly feel that 1st place and 3rd place in the Distillate Cartridge category speaks for itself!
HUMBOLDT TREES AT EMERALD CUP
With this being Humboldt Tree’s first Emerald Cup with the LEGION, we wanted to make sure they had an amazing time! The Legion of Bloom showcased five strains of their estate-grown flower for everyone at the cup to smell and enjoy.
